A Night To Shine – 2017
We teach CPR – so what in the world does CPR training have to do with Tim Tebow Foundation’s “A Night To Shine”. Well, nothing. But, we were invited to help a Newnan local church host A Night To Shine (first time in Newnan area by the way), on Feb. 10th.
We love to give back to our community (did you know we have Free Family & Friends CPR training the whole month of February?) So, we said yes and volunteered to serve at the event, which 385 churches this year served over 70,000 persons with special needs – to provide a “Prom Experience”.
We loved it – maybe more than the Special guests did. None of our instructors attend SouthCrest Church, but we appreciate being allowed to serve at this event. I hope you enjoy the pictures and videos.
The goal was to have a “Red Carpet Experience” for these honored guests. This meant people cheering on the Red Carpet for their arrival, complete with paparazzi. CTCA in Newnan went above and beyond – donating 3 limos and drivers! That’s supporting our community in a big way. We appreciate it. We’re not real political here, but I’m glad we didn’t have to limit guests at a Night To Shine to only 35% from GA! Go to Speak Now Georgia , sign the petition to let patients with cancer choose what hospital they go to. (No, CTCA didn’t ask me to do that say that). I just think it’s the right thing to do. Here’s some” limo arrival and red carpet pictures.
