COVID-19 Update Pertaining to BLS, CPR, First Aid classes

The main guidelines from WHO and CDC that are causing many sports organizations to cancel events, or bar fans from attending is the “Social Distancing” recommendation of 6 feet apart.   We are continuing classes, cause we feel we can protect students and teachers, by following WHO and CDC guidelines for cleaning disinfecting of manikins & equipment, maintaining social distancing, and wearing gloves while performing CPR/BLS skills.

 

 * COVID-19 update   –    Since WHO declared CoronaVirus a global pandemic on 3/12/2020, and Coweta County first reported case on 3/13/2020 – we are taking extra precautions for health & safety in our classes, including double manikin decontamination, spacing students 6 feet apart, and wearing gloves while practicing CPR.  Teaching/learning CPR is an extremely low risk of catching any disease, but we are still teaching In accordance with CDC and WHO guidelines .   *   3/13/2020  *
